Author

I’ve been writing fiction at least since I was 11 years old, and the fire hasn’t gone out. Check out my published works below!

A Slice of Mars

A story about a bunch of nerds coming together to start a pizzeria on a far-future Mars colony. I challenged myself to do a couple of things here – write a good story that didn’t involve fighting, was set in a mostly peaceful and optimistic world, and focused on a cast of characters rather than one central figure.

This book was inspired by the likes of Becky Chambers’ The Long Way To A Small Angry Planet, Ursula K. LeGuin’s The Left Hand of Darkness, and Malka M. Older’s Infomocracy.

Digitesque

My first foray into self-publishing was to go all-out. I wrote a post-apocalyptic science-fantasy series, sprawling across six novels, about the human future, identity, love, all that jazz.

It was a ton of fun to write, and I often think fondly of the characters. But it also helped me identify areas where I wanted to grow and improve as a writer. My subsequent writing has been focused on exploring different challenges.

Next Book…

I have finished the manuscript for a new stand-alone novel, which is now in the feedback and editing phase. There is no cover image yet. The title could change, but for now it’s called Sun-Soaked Teeth.

Sun-Soaked Teeth is a fantasy horror western, set in a small desert town where the death of a wealthy older gentleman sets a great many terrible things into motion.

I look forward to sharing more about it!
